Any great event will not be successful without the right motivation, the right spirit and the right effort. We are very fortunate to be linked together with this auspicious event.

We are most grateful to have the guidance of Venerable Shangpa Rinpoche. Without his blessings, compassion and tireless efforts, we would not have been able to come before the Great Stupa at Boudhanath to make our offerings and prayers. We are equally grateful to every single individual who assisted and participated in this meritorious event. We thank all the people who have tirelessly put in their time, efforts and material contributions to make the event a great success.

Preparing for the Event

In particular, we express our gratitude to the lamas and anis of the monasteries and nunneries under the care of Venerable Shangpa Rinpoche, who undertook all the preparations necessary for our aspiration for world peace puja on site. We also thank the noble members of the Maha Sangha who led the prayers and chanting and the caretakers at Boudhanath who assisted in every way to make our offerings of hundred thousand lamps possible.

May all our noble aspirations be fulfilled. May the world be free from conflicts, natural disasters and diseases. May our collective merits from participating in this great event bring unsurpassed happiness and joy to all sentient beings.
