Teaching visit to Europe, June - August 2002

Shagpa Rinpoche gave teachings and initiations at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, France, as part of his tour of Europe, as well as a number of other locations. We present below images from those teachings, as well as images from his travels in Germany, Switzerland and Denmark. We have reproduced the text from his schedule below, without alteration from when it originally appeared in the news section of this site.

Rinpoche's Teaching Schedule

Rinpoche sent us this schedule of his engagements whilst in France:

1) June 24th : arrival in Paris - France

2) June 25th : travelling to Montchardon

3) 25th, 26th : rest in Montchardon

4) 27th : Travelling to Nice

5) 27th (afternoon or/and evening) : Teaching in Association Khendra (Villeneuve Loubet near Nice - south of France) : kendraling@wanadoo.fr

6) 28th morning lift to Karmapa Institute (one hour and an half driving)

7) From afternoon of 28th June to July 3rd included, Teaching in Karmapa (Maghada) Institute (Valderoure near Nice) : institut.karmapa@wanadoo.fr (Sylvie)

9) From July 4th to July 7th : teaching in Le Havre center (Responsible : Alain Duhayon)

10) July 8th : Travelling back (TGV : high Speed train : 5 hours trip) to Karma Migyur Ling (Montchardon)

11) From July 8th to July 12th teachings in Karma Migyur Ling : fred.cattin@wanadoo.fr

The schedule of teachings is : 4 days teachings on the Mahamudra Prayer and one day on Tungshag, the confession sutra.
