Limited Edition Holy Statuettes of The Lord of Wisdom, Manjushri

Specially Commissioned and Blessed by Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche - June 2004

Like the break of dawn; the compassion, the wisdom and the foresight of a humble monk in Singapore is now manifested in the form of a statuette of The Lord of Wisdom: Manjushri. And like the glorious morning sun; it now shines forth in the darkness, dispelling ignorance and negativity in Samsara. Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche understands completely that only with the light of enlightened wisdom can sentient beings like you and I find our way in the darkness of ignorance and negative karmic forces in these degenerate times. He also knows that with the blessings of this supreme wisdom, followers of the Path will be able to overcome the most trying of obstacles and the most testing of negative forces. Only with the blessings of this pinnacle of enlightened wisdom will one and all be able to see the true nature of all negativities within cyclic existence.

The statuette of The Lord of Wisdom: Manjushri is a small symbolic heart token of Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche's ceaseless efforts to benefit even more sentient beings, especially in these degenerating times. Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche has taken the initiative to commission, make, do retreat, consecrate and bless these special pendants so as to inspire practitioners to practice more diligently, so that they may ultimately attain to the supramundane wisdom of Prajna that enables one to severe all roots of ignorance and attachments to this worldly existence; accumulate wisdom and generate merits for the sake of the liberation of all mother sentient beings.

Each individual piece is a precious religious relic that has taken many dedicated and highly skilled craftsmen hours of blood, sweat and tears to create. The mould for this statuette was specially commissioned in Switzerland using world-renowned Swiss mould-making techniques resulting in the superior finish. The remarkably intricate details are simply breathtaking.

Upon completion, a long retreat consisting of countless hours of compassionate prayers was undertaken by Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche to consecrate and bless this very sacred and auspicious relic. Countless precious items have been used in the consecration, thus making this very holy statuette a fusion of intricate religious artistry and sacred blessed relics. One should always hold it very precious to one's heart for it is the very emanation of infinite wisdom, love and compassion.

Each individual holy statuette of Lord Manjushri contains special blessing pills made by Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche. Following is a partial list of the very precious and rare holy relics and blessing substances so selflessly presented by Rinpoche and used in the making of the special blessing pills.

Commissioned for the Kagyu Institute

The statuette has also been commissioned as a token of appreciation to the currently ongoing efforts of Rinpoche's faithful followers to accomplish the remaining portions of building the Kagyu Institute for Buddhist Studies and Retreat Centre and all proceeds go towards completing this worthy Dharma project. Ven. Rinpoche would like to present this sacred relic to followers who aspire to be a part of this auspicious effort to build a retreat centre and Buddhist Institute so that practitioners from anywhere around the world may come and do retreat and practice the BuddhaDharma in a peaceful and pleasant environment.

Only a one-time Limited Edition of 3,000 pieces of this precious statuette have been made and are available for kind sponsorship at SGD$100.00 each. The statuettes are made of copper, and are of beautiful classic copper finish. These come with a plastic casing for wearing.

Special 5 Metals Alloy Finish

Of the total 3,000 pieces, a very small quantity are made of special auspicious 5 metals alloy and encased in a solid gold casing for wearing. These are available at SGD$500.00 each. Each piece comes with its own individually serial numbered Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by Ven. Shangpa Rinpoche.
