World Peace Grand Prayer - Day 1

We are very happy to present a series of images from the first World Peace Grand Prayer held one year ago in Kathmandu, Nepal. We'll be gradually adding more images over the coming weeks.

First Anniversary Celebrations of the Kirtipur Institute

The first set of images presented below show the celebrations for the First Anniversary of the Kagyu Institute for Buddhist Studies at Kirtipur. Hundreds of Singaporean and local Nepalese guests attended the event.

At this time, Shangpa Rinpoche gave the Guru Rinpoche Long Life Initiation to all those present.

There are also images from one of the Hotels where a celebration to mark the First Anniversary of Kirtipur Institute took place. Shangpa Rinpoche surprised all those with a birthday in the month of December by throwing an impromptu birthday celebration for them.

Finally, at the celebration dinner, Alex made a special announcement about the new 'VISION 6 DVD' which was distributed to the devotees present that night.
