Rinpoche's Travels

Shangpa Rinpoche has been in Kalimpong recently, to celebrate Losar (Tibetan New Year) at Jangchub Choeling Monastery. Whilst there he has been leading the Lamas in a special 7 Day long Mahakala Puja. The pujas took place each day from 3am to 8pm. Shangpa Rinpoche has passed on that he felt that a very good and strong aspiration was made for world peace and for the benefit of all sentient beings. He said that the Lamas very much enjoyed the puja practice.

Rinpoche spent two days over Losar in Kalimpong to pay respects to HH 17 Karmapa, Thrinley Thaye Dorje, and Shamar Rinpoche. He then travelled to Dehli, before returning to Nepal on 25 February. Shangpa Rinpoche is due to return to Singapore on 2 March 2007.

A brief update of News

On the 14th September, Shangpa Rinpoche and 4 Ani-las went into the recording studio to do Mani chanting and Amitabha prayer recording. The aim is to produce a CD which will be another way to raise funds for Rinpoche's various projects. In all, 2 thousand copies of the CD will be produced, which will be available for sale very soon.

The Vision 7 DVD has also been completed, and has begun to be distributed to devotees during Ven Shangpa Rinpoche's birthday on 12 September.
