ZE KU DHA SHON SAR PI DZUM DANG GANG.
gracefully manifests with a smiling countenance, like a new moon beaming:

DEN PI MOD LA RING TSO PAL TERWA.
and the recollection of Her bestows splendid longevity.

CHI ME YE SHE KHOR LO SHI PA TSOL.

By the wonderful activities of the renowned Karmapa, the Lokeshvara,

May you, the embodiment of the three secrets of the exalted Bodhisattvas,

the Saviour of all beings, stay in this world, like the unchangeable nature of the Vajra.

SEN SAM GOM PE KHYEN RAB LANG TSO GYE.
By hearing, contemplating and practising, the youthful knowledge blooms;

KHE TSUN ZANG POE NAM THAR SID NA NYEN.
and the life stories of the intelligent, diligent and virtuous ones are always popular in this world.

CHE TSOD TSOM PE TEN PI GYAL TSEN ZIN.
May you, the embodiment of those who have been expounding, debating and writing;

DON NYI LUN DRUB CHEN POR SHAB TEN SOL.
the holder of the victory banner of Dharma, remain in this world, like the two spontaneously arising benefits.

This long life prayer for Shangpa Rinpoche was requested by the radiant light of the Practice Lineage, the Ven. Tenga Rinpoche, and was written by the Gyal Khampa, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje (HH Dudjom Rinpoche) in the earth horse year, on the 10th day of Trum tod month, near the Aei Temple in Kathmandu.
